Craig is a solicitor and Head of Dispute Resolution.

He is a versatile litigation lawyer and has a thriving mixed practice.

He has gained valuable experience in both private practice (Legal 500 firm) and the public sector (Unitary Authority) and is well placed to take instructions from both corporate clients and individuals. He takes a practical and sympathetic approach towards his client’s requirements and understands the need to navigate disputes in an efficient and proactive manner. He is an advocate of alternative dispute resolution believing it is a vital tool in resolving disputes amicably and proportionately.

A litigator who provides sound and timely commercial advice, he has litigated in the higher echelons of the court system and has worked closely with eminent QCs. Notable cases include:

  • Instructed by a claimant company in High Court (Chancery Division) proceedings for a purported breach of a Sale and Purchase Agreement relating to deferred payments;
  • Instructed by defendant LLP for alleged breach of a Quistclose trust / investment agreement following a  multi million pound investment by an investor;
  • Instructed by an individual claimant in respect of an urgent freezing injunction application in the High Court (Queen’s Bench Division) in aid of contemplative proceedings outside of the jurisdiction.

He is adept at employment matters and has considerable experience of Employment Tribunals having appeared for both employers and employees. He is therefore in an enviable position of being able to offer objective and well rounded advice. He also offers non contentious employment and HR advice to businesses enabling him to be a first port of call for all business employment related needs.

  • Instructed by a Local Authority in an 8 day (race and sex) discrimination claim (whilst successfully obtaining a costs order);
